This week in World History, we will start Monday off with notes and we should be able to finish those out. On Tuesday, we will review for our test and we will take a look back at the Arab Spring from just a few years ago via our "Triple Threat" activity. On Wednesday, we will have our Chapter 11 Test on Islam. On Thursday we will start our notes on Africa in the Middle Ages and follow that up with more notes on Friday. We are getting into notes pretty fast with Africa so that we will have time to take that test before the end of the nine weeks and Spring Break kicks in.

This week in World History, we will start taking a look at the religion of Islam. We will start a "Inside Islam" which is a National Geographic documentary. On Wednesday, we will start our notes. On Thursday, we will take a look at the unique geography of the Middle East and why it has become such a hot spot for controversy and a draw for western countries. On Friday, we will continue our notes. Please encourage your student to do any make up work that they have for me and any other teacher. This has been a rough year for grades and we want all students to succeed and be able to go to the next level of their education.
This week in World History we will start the week in much of the same way we started last week...with Mrs. Kiser. We will be inputting the students information into Kuder. Also, the green sheets that were handed out with the student's high school schedules are due on Monday as well. I will take them as late as Tuesday, but no later. On Tuesday, we will finish up our notes on Christianity and have our test review. Wednesday we will be reading about the Council Of Nicea. We will have our Chapter 10 test on Thursday and on Friday we will begin our look at Islam. If you have any questions, please contact me.
This week in World History starts with a trip to our library to complete our Kuder program which will start our students down the road to their senior year in high school the kinds of jobs that they may want to explore for their futures. On Tuesday, we will be viewing Mankind: Empires which will start us on our journey through Christianity and how it changes the world. On Wednesday, we will begin our notes on Christianity by talking about the first Christians. Thursday, we will follow that up with a look at how the Christian church is formed. On Friday, we will be exploring primary and secondary source documents from the Church to analyze how the Church decided on the different books of the Bible.
