Hey all! I hope everyone had a great relaxing weekend and I hope that you're ready for another wild and busy week!...yay...Okay, so we will start with an activity that can be found in Google Classroom on the Fertile Crescent. In this activity you will examine the relationship that the Tigris and Euphrates have on ancient Mesopotamia. The instructions in the description. On Tuesday we will take our first test of the nine weeks. Please take time to study your notes. The test comes from our notes and discussions in the classroom. On Wednesday, we will begin notes for Egypt in my 6th and 7th period classes and for my honors classes, we will examine Egypt, Mesopotamia and the worlds earliest religions. On Thursday, we will begin an activity on the daily life in Egypt...bring your color pencils for this. Of course Career Prep will be your activity on Friday and wrap the week up with a beautiful bow....

Hey all! This will be our first week on block scheduling, so it will seem strange and for a lot of you, you'll not see my beautiful face as much, but I will have you for two hours on either Wednesday or Thursday. We will start the week off by finishing our notes and I'll get you ready for our first test and that goes for all classes. On Tuesday, we will start our first DBQ of the quarter...Hammurabi's Code. We will investigate some of his more strict laws and determine whether or not they were needed or justified. On Wednesday and Thursday, we will work on a ESPN activity for the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers as well as work in Career Prep. That will be double career prep for some of you on Thursday, but it will be time well used. On Friday, our normal day for Career Prep, we will actually continue work on the DBQ and talk about how to be successful on my tests, especially for my honors classes since your test is pretty hard.
Hey all. So this is where I have a quick view of your upcoming week. This week, we will start with notes and examine some pretty cool cave paintings and on Tuesday, you will create your own cave paintings. On Wednesday, we will finish out notes and I'll let you know what you can expect to see on your test. Thursday and Friday will be reserved for career prep this week. Normally, Friday would be the only day, but we need to make up lost ground from this past week without laptops.
