On this wonderful B-Week in world history, we will start the week by taking care of that pesky Checkpoint 3 test. I hope that you have studied and are ready for that. On Tuesday, I will be out of town and Career prep will be the plan. On our two B-Week days, we will start by taking a look at our notes on Sparta and Athens. We will transition quickly to an activity on Athens and Sparta and their differences. Mustang period on Thursday will 5th period this week. We will be back in Career Prep on Friday as well. The reason for this is because I don't want to end the week on an activity before our week long Thanksgiving Break. However, 6th and 7th period are both vastly behind everyone else. Career prep is required for your graduation from high school. It is state required and is not an elective. Take it seriously.
This week in World History, we are going to start by discussing the Spartans and their society of strict military practices, slavery and whether or not we should view them in a good light. On Tuesday and Wednesday, we are going to be taking a look at Veteran's Day, the different military branches and their roles and also at what boot camp can be like. We are out for Veteran's Day on Thursday. Friday will be a day for Career Prep! I will also post the study guide for the Checkpoint 3 test as well. See you tomorrow!

On Wednesday, we will start talking about Greece. On Thursday, you will be comparing the Minoan vs. Mycenean civilizations of Ancient Greece and on Friday, we will discuss the Spartans and whether or not they should be viewed in a good, bad or grey light.
