Exams are the priority for the week with 3rd-6th period exams going on. Students who have make up work for me, and that includes make up tests, are due by Wednesday (the 20th). Please encourage your student to complete all of their work and get it to me ASAP!

Ok, students and parents, it is go time! On Monday I will hand out the exam study guide as well as have the classes who did not finish the work from Friday complete that assignment which will be our 2nd to last daily grade for the 9 weeks and the semester. I will also be taking a look and signing the exemption forms. 1st Period is completely done with that (I actually took them home on Thursday, then received 4 inches of snow at my residence in Brent, Alabama which prevented me from being at work on Friday...what a day), but I should be able to get everyone else taken care of on Monday as well. We have our chapter 5 test on Tuesday. From after the test on Tuesday until Thursday will be dedicated to finishing the study exam study guide which will be our last daily grade of the semester as well as completing any make up work that the students need to complete.
If you know that your student is missing daily grade work, the grand majority of it will be allowed to be made up with the exception of the two #projectattack assignments and the one assignment based off of "the Last Stand of the 300". Please encourage your student(s) to complete all of their work as we are in an important point in the semester. This is the point where a lot of students fail the semester due to missing assignments, including missing tests. I try my best to keep up with who has missed tests, but this year has been especially difficult due to the shear amount of the students who have missed them...it's uncanny really. This week in World History will be a blue of action! We will be getting our notes ready for our last test before our exams! We will finish up the activity side of our Spartan Education DBQ and will come back to the writing activity next week. We will be consumed with our notes for the rest of the week so that we may be ready for our test on the next Tuesday. There will be at least one Greek activity for a grade this week as well.
